TRESPASS AT NIGHT INVESTIGATION
Suspect arrested after police service dog deployed

LONDON, ON (July 2, 2026) – A London man is facing charges after a police service dog assisted officers during an arrest in the city’s south end over the weekend.

On June 28, 2026, at approximately 12:30 a.m., police responded to the area of Centre Street and Wharncliffe Road South after receiving a report of a man going through backyards with a flashlight and a red wagon.

A member of the London Police Service (LPS) Canine Unit attended the area with his police service dog and located a red wagon containing various personal belongings near the rear of a residential complex.
