TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO ARREST
London man facing multiple charges

LONDON, ON (October 13, 2026) – A London man is facing a number of charges after a traffic stop by a member of the London Police Service (LPS) Road Safety Section in the south end of the city last week.

At approximately 11:30 a.m., on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2026, a London police officer operating an unmarked police vehicle on Wharncliffe Road South near Belmont Drive observed a driver using a cellphone while stopped at a red light. The officer conducted a traffic stop and learned that the G1 driver was alone in the vehicle without an accompanying driver present.

The officer observed that the vehicle did not have a muffler attached and directed the driver to pull off the road for an inspection. Multiple deficiencies were identified, and the vehicle was deemed unfit to drive.

Further investigation revealed the driver was breaching court-imposed conditions.

The driver was arrested and transported to the LPS Headquarters Detention Centre.

A search incident to arrest yielded a quantity of suspected controlled substances.

As a result of the investigation, Koch Bill Agok, 25, of London, has been charged with:

• Two counts of failing to comply with a release order;
• Possession of a Schedule III substance;
• Breach of probation;
• Drive-hand-held communication device;
• Class G1 licence holder – unaccompanied by a qualified driver
• No muffler-motor vehicle; and
• Drive commercial motor vehicle not in accordance with emissions regulations.

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in London court today, in relation to the charges.
