Report a Fraud & Scam

Has your personal information been compromised?

Before you file a Fraud report:

• Please contact the financial, government or commercial institutions where an account has been opened in your name and notify them that this is not you.
• Contact Transunion (1-800-663-9980) and Equifax (1-866-779-6440) and have a flag or alert placed on your name to protect against identity theft.

Failure to provide goods and services 

• From a buy and sell website
• From an online retail store
• Renovation scams

Unauthorized use of Payment Method (Debit/credit card, cheque etc)

• Has your personal or business debit/credit card or a cheque been used without your permission.

Have you provided money or property to someone who presented themselves deceitfully?  

Add additional information to your fraud report.
