Our Record Checks and Freedom of Information office is open by appointment only.  Please read below for further details.

Record Checks

We encourage all applicants to apply for record checks using the online system.  Anyone aged 18 or older can apply and pay online, even if you have limited credit history.  If you require fingerprints in order to complete your record check or you have an extenuating circumstance preventing you from applying online please call 519-661-5255 to book an in person appointment. 

Record Suspensions and Non-Parent Custody Applications

Record Suspensions and Non-parent Custody Applications can be sent through the mail, or you can place them in the locked drop box located just outside of the Record Checks and Freedom of Information office.  Click on Record Checks and then the applicable item for further information.  If you have any questions, please call 519-661-5255.

Freedom of Information

Freedom of Information requests can be sent in the mail along with your $5.00 request fee, payable by money order or cheque made payable to “London Police Service”.  If you prefer to pay by cash, you have the option to drop off your completed application and $5 cash in a sealed envelope into our locked drop box located just outside the Record Checks and Freedom of Information office.  Click on “Freedom of Information Requests and Access to Police Records” for further information.  If you have any questions, please call 519-661-5603.
