London man facing charges

LONDON, ON (March 31, 2026) – A London man is facing charges following a voyeurism investigation.

On Saturday, March 14, 2026, at approximately 2:30 p.m., police responded to a business in the north end of the city after receiving a report that a man had taken inappropriate videos of a teenage girl in a change room on his cell phone. Officers were provided with a description of the suspect; however, he was not located at that time.

The investigation was reassigned to the Patrol Operations Investigative Section, where investigators reviewed surveillance footage and identified the suspect.

As a result of the investigation, on March 26, 2026, Ryan Christopher Gareau, 48, of London, was arrested and charged with the following offences:

• Voyeurism; and,
• Possess to publish child sexual abuse material

The accused is scheduled to appear in London court on April 21, 2026, in relation to these charges.
