London man in hospital

LONDON, ON (September 29, 2026) – The London Police Service Major Crime Section is investigating after a stabbing in the downtown core last night.

On Monday, September 28, 2026, at approximately 6:15 p.m., police responded to a report of a stabbing that had just occurred on the north side of the Dundas Street, just east of Adelaide Street.

Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from life-threatening injuries. The victim was transported to hospital by paramedic services.

The suspect is described as male, 20-25 years of age, wearing a long-sleeved plaid button-up shirt, and burgundy pants.

The investigation remains in its early stages, and the suspect male has not been located.

The victim remains in hospital.

Police recognize that incidents involving violence in public spaces can be concerning for members of the community. The London Police Service takes incidents of this nature very seriously and remains committed to community safety. Officers are actively investigating this matter and will maintain a visible presence in the area as the investigation continues.

Investigators are asking members of the public who were in the area between 6 – 6:20 p.m., or who may have information, dash-cam footage, residential or business video surveillance that could assist with the investigation, to contact the London Police Service.
