TWO REPORTED SHOOTINGS

LONDON, ON (May 14, 2026) – Members of the London Police Service are investigating two separate shooting incidents that were reported over the weekend in the city’s east and north-west ends.
On Sunday, May 10, 2026, at approximately 12:45 a.m., police responded to multiple 9-1-1 calls reporting a shooting at a townhouse complex on Limberlost Road. Upon arrival, officers located evidence that a firearm had been discharged. There were no reported injuries; however, both a vehicle and a residence were struck by bullets.
Investigators do not believe the vehicle or residence were the intended targets.
Later that day, a citizen contacted police to report a possible shooting in the area of Cheapside Street and McNay Street. Upon investigation, officers located evidence confirming that a firearm had been discharged. Investigators believe this incident may have taken place earlier, between May 7 at approximately 10:30 p.m. and May 8 at 1 a.m. A residence and a trailer were struck by bullets. No injuries were reported.
Both investigations remain in the early stages and more information will be provided as appropriate.
Investigators are appealing to members of the public who were in either area at the relevant times, or who may have dash-cam, residential, or business video surveillance footage, to contact the London Police Service.
Of particular interest is video from the Cheapside Street and McNay Street area between May 7 at 10:30 p.m. and May 8 at 1 a.m., as well as the Limberlost Road area between 12:30 a.m. and 1 a.m. on May 10, 2026.
Incidents involving firearms can cause significant concern within the community. The London Police Service takes these matters seriously and remains committed to thoroughly investigating all reported shootings, pursuing those responsible, and working in partnership with the community to reduce gun violence and enhance public safety.
