SEXUAL ASSAULT INVESTIGATION
Investigators believe there may be additional victims 

LONDON, ON (July 31, 2026) – Members of the London Police Service have charged a London massage therapist following an investigation into a sexual assault involving a client earlier this week.

On July 30, 2026, the victim reported that she had been sexually assaulted during a scheduled treatment session the day before.

The investigation was reassigned to members of the London Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Section.

On Thursday, July 30, 2026, members of the London Police Service identified and arrested Christian Javier Gutierrez, 47, of London. As a result of the investigation, he has been charged with sexual assault. 

Investigators believe there may be additional victims and, as such, are releasing a photograph of the accused.

The accused was scheduled to appear in London court today in relation to the charge.

The accused operates a massage therapy business in the downtown core, and the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario has been notified.
