SEXUAL ASSAULT INVESTIGATION
LONDON, ON (May 29, 2026) – The London Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Section is investigating an incident reported early this morning in the north end of the city.
On May 29, 2026, a woman reported being sexually assaulted when she was approached by a man who pulled her onto the front lawn of a residence in the 300-block of Sarnia Road while she was out for a walk. The victim contacted police.
The suspect fled the area on foot. Officers attended the area and conducted a search; however, the suspect was not located.
The suspect is described as:
• Male, White, between 40 – 60 years of age, 5’6 – 5’8, average to heavy build, with facial hair. He was described as wearing a cap on his head, a light blue t-shirt and dark-coloured shorts
Investigators are appealing to members of the public who may have been in the area of Sarnia Road and Stirrup Court between 3 – 4 a.m., or who may have residential or business video surveillance or dash-camera footage, to contact police.
The investigation is in its early stages, and further information will be shared as appropriate.
