SEVEN INJURED FOLLOWING COLLISION AT SHERWOOD FOREST MALL
LONDON, ON (June 12, 2026) – The London Police Service is investigating a serious collision that occurred this morning at Sherwood Forest Mall, in which a vehicle struck the building and injured several people.
At approximately 7:40 a.m., emergency crews were dispatched to the mall, located at 1225 Wonderland Road North, after a 9-1-1 call reported that a vehicle had struck the west side of the building. The London Police Service, the London Fire Department, and Middlesex-London Paramedic Services responded immediately.
A vehicle drove into the exterior of the mall, striking an area where a fitness centre is located. Individuals were inside the fitness centre at the time of the collision.
Seven people, including individuals inside the building and the driver of the vehicle, have sustained injuries. Several were transported to hospital by Paramedic Services.
The injuries are reported as follows:
- One critical
- One serious
- Five fair
“This is a serious incident that has affected many people in our community,” said Chief Thai Truong. “Our thoughts are with everyone who was injured, their families, and all those who were present when this occurred. I know an incident like this is frightening and will leave many people looking for answers. Our investigators are on scene, dedicated resources have been assigned, and we are working carefully and thoroughly to determine the circumstances that led to this collision. I want to thank our emergency services partners and everyone who responded quickly to support those impacted. We will provide further updates as information is confirmed.”
The investigation is active and complex. Members of the London Police Service Major Crime Section and Road Safety Section are both on scene working to determine the circumstances of the collision. Investigators are gathering evidence, reviewing video surveillance, and speaking with witnesses who were present.
