SERIOUS MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION

LONDON, ON (September 17, 2026) – Members of the London Police Service (LPS) Road Safety Section are investigating a serious motor vehicle collision involving a cyclist that took place in the downtown core yesterday afternoon.
On Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at approximately 4 p.m., emergency services responded to the intersection of Dundas and Maitland streets after a collision involving a motor vehicle and a cyclist.
An adult male cyclist was transported to hospital by paramedic services with life-threatening injuries. He remains in critical condition.
The driver of the involved vehicle remained at the scene.
The investigation has been reassigned to the LPS Road Safety Section and remains ongoing.
Investigators are asking anyone who was in the area between 3:45 p.m. and 4 p.m. on September 16, 2026, who may have dash-cam footage, or residential or business video surveillance, to contact police.
