COLLISION RESULTS IN CHARGES
London woman arrested 

LONDON, ON (April 21, 2026) – A London woman is facing charges after the vehicle she was operating struck property in a residential neighbourhood.

On Sunday, April 19, 2026, at approximately 7:30 a.m., a woman was driving her vehicle southbound on Chesley Avenue, approaching Dame Street when she proceeded to drive onto the front lawn of a residence, striking another vehicle and a fence before exiting the vehicle and walking away on foot.

A witness observed the collision and contacted police.

A description of the suspect driver was provided to police, and officers located and arrested her on Chesley Avenue, just north of Stedwell Street.

There were no reported injuries.

As a result of the investigation, Jaecee Shaunte Antone, 25, of London, has been charged with the following offences:

• Impaired operation of a conveyance;
• Impaired exceed blood alcohol concentration; and
• Drive without authorized accompanying driver.

The damages are estimated at $20,000.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in London court on May 25, 2026, in relation to the charges.
