FATAL MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION

LONDON, ON (May 19, 2026) – Members of the London Police Service Uniformed Division and Road Safety Section are investigating a serious motor vehicle collision that took place on Friday in the east end of the city.
On Friday, May 15, 2026, at approximately 3:00 p.m., emergency crews responded to a motor vehicle collision involving an e-bike in the area of Brydges Street and Egerton Street.
The cyclist was transported to hospital by paramedic services with life-threatening injuries and has succumbed to those injuries.
The involved driver remained on scene.
The investigation has been reassigned to members of the London Police Service Road Safety Section and is ongoing.
Investigators are asking anyone who was in the area on Friday, May 15, 2026, between 2:45 p.m. – 3:10 p.m., and may have witnessed the collision, or who has dashcam, residential, or business surveillance footage, to please contact the London Police Service.
