FATAL MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION 26-100159

LONDON, ON (October 5, 2026) – Members of the London Police Service Frontline Division and Road Safety Section are investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision that took place yesterday in the northwest end of the city.

On Sunday, October 4, 2026, at approximately 6:20 p.m., emergency crews responded to a collision involving a motorcycle and a motor vehicle in the area of Fanshawe Park Road West and Aldersbrook Gate. Upon arrival, the motorcyclist was located deceased. Roads in the area were closed while emergency crews remained on scene.

All roads have since reopened.

The driver of the motor vehicle remained on scene.

The investigation has been reassigned to members of the London Police Service Road Safety Section and is ongoing.  

Investigators are asking anyone who was in the area on Sunday, October 4, 2026, between 6:10 p.m. – 6:30 p.m., and may have witnessed the collision, or who has dashcam, residential, or business surveillance footage, to please contact the London Police Service.
