FATAL MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION
Investigation ongoing 

LONDON, ON (September 14, 2026) – Member of the London Police Service (LPS) Road Safety Section are investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision that took place in the east end of the city early this morning.

At approximately 7 a.m., on Monday, September 14, 2026, emergency services responded to the area of Hale Street and Hamilton Road in relation to a medical emergency.

An adult male was located and transported to hospital by paramedic services. The individual succumbed to his injuries in hospital.

Through the course of the investigation, video surveillance was obtained, and officers determined that the victim had been struck by a motor vehicle. The involved driver remained on scene.

Roads in the area were closed for a period of time while police remained on scene.

The investigation is in its early stages, and more information will be provided as appropriate.

Investigators are appealing to anyone who was in the area between 6:40 – 7:05 a.m., or who may have dash-cam footage, or business or residential video surveillance that could assist with the investigation, to contact police.
