High School Co-op Placement

Every semester we host 3 or 4 co-op students to work with us from area high schools. We gear our positions to students who have an interest in policing, automotive repair or civilian support positions.

Most of the work is administrative but during your time with us, we will give you a chance to see other parts of policing such as:

• A presentation by our Emergency Response Unit
• A presentation by our K9 Unit
• Observing our radio dispatchers at work
• A presentation by Explosive Disposal Unit
• A tour of our Mobile Command Vehicle

If you are interested in a career related to policing, our Service would be a great place to do your co-op placement.
