Community Event and Presentation Requests
Community Events
The London Police Service is committed to building and maintaining relationships in the community and accepts invitations for officers to attend community events.
Examples of events that officers may attend include but are not limited to:
- School and community picnics, fairs, festivals, meetings etc.
- Cultural/Diversity events
- Charity fundraisers
- Public speaking requests at schools, community groups, day camps, day cares etc.
Please note that:

All events must be within the City of London
- The primary function of officers attending your event will be to participate in positive interactions with the public. Officer attendance at your event is not guaranteed and will depend on officer availability.
- Officers are not to be requested for the primary purpose of security, enforcement, First Aid or traffic management. If you need officers at your event for this purpose, please consider hiring Special Duty Officers.
- There must be a minimum of 35 confirmed attendees.
To request officers from the London Police Service for a community event, please complete the Community Request Form. Only events submitted through this form will be considered.
Presentation Requests
Community Policing officers are also available to provide presentations on the following topics:
- Online Safety and Cyberbullying
- Frauds and Scams
- General Safety/Crime Prevention
- Police 101 for Newcomers/Diverse Community Members
To request officers from the London Police Service for a community event, please complete the Community Request Form.
Only events submitted through this form will be considered. Requests must be made at least 30 days prior to the event.
