On-going shooting investigation

LONDON, ON (March 30, 2024) – On Friday, March 29, 2024, at approximately 10:50 p.m., police received a 9-1-1 call reporting a motor vehicle collision and gun shots fired in the area of Fiddlers Green Road and Oxford Street West.

Upon arriving in the area, officers observed damage to multiple vehicles and located evidence that a firearm had been discharged. Initially no victim was located, but shortly following the incident police were notified a victim had attended hospital with suspected gunshot wound(s).  Police located the victim, with injury; the victim was treated in hospital for a non-life threatening gunshot wound(s).

The investigation is being led by members of the London Police Major Crime Section. Investigators are asking anyone who was in the area around the time of the disturbance to contact the London Police Service.  Likewise, anyone with dashcam or other video of a disturbance in the area around that time is asked to contact investigators.
