One man arrested, another charged by way of warrant of arrest
UPDATE – LONDON, ON (November 28, 2022) – Charges have been laid in relation to a weapons investigation from Friday, November 25, 2022.
The victim in this matter sustained serious, but non-life-threatening injuries in relation to this incident. A vehicle was stolen.
The injury sustained was determined to be as a result of a gunshot wound.
The reported stolen vehicle was recovered.
The victim and the suspects were not known to each other.
As a result of the investigation, Mark Roman Sierkowski, 33, has been arrested and charged, while a second man, Aaron Rodger Schuyler, 37, has not been located, and as such, has been charged by way of warrant of arrest with the following Criminal Code offences:
- Aggravated assault;
- Possess restricted or prohibited firearm knowingly not holding a licence;
- Armed robbery;
- Occupy motor vehicle with firearm; and
- Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order.
Aaron Schuyler, has also been charged with operation of a conveyance while prohibited.
A firearm has not been recovered.
Mark Sierkowski is scheduled to appear in London court on November 29, 2022.

ORIGINAL – LONDON, ON (November 25, 2022) – Members of the London Police Service Major Crime Section are investigating after a man sustained an injury in the east end of the city.
At approximately 12:30 p.m., on Friday, November 25, 2022, emergency crews responded to a report of a possible shooting in the 2000-block of Dundas Street. Upon arrival, an injured man was located and transported to hospital by paramedic services.
There will be an increased police presence as the investigation is in its early stages.
