One victim treated at hospital

LONDON, ON (April 28, 2022) – On Thursday, April 28, 2022, at approximately 2:30 a.m., police received a 9-1-1 call regarding a disturbance in the area of Richmond Street and Mill Street.

Upon arrival at the location, police found no injured persons or disturbance in progress.  However, not long after, police were notified that a male had attended hospital with a suspected gunshot wound.  Police located the victim with an injury; he was treated in hospital for a non-life threatening gunshot wound and released.

The investigation is being led by members of the London Police Major Crime Section. Investigators are asking anyone who was in the area around the time of the disturbance to contact them.  Likewise, anyone with dashcam or other video of a disturbance in the area around that time is asked to contact investigators.

The investigation is continuing and police do not believe that there is an ongoing threat to public safety as a result of this incident.
