WOMAN FACING THREATS AND B&E CHARGES

LONDON, ON (April 20, 2026) – A London woman is facing charges after breaking into a home in the downtown core over the weekend. 

On April 19, 2026, at approximately 8:30 p.m., a woman entered a residence in the 800-block of Princess Avenue. The female suspect was confronted by a teenage girl who demanded that she leave the home. The suspect refused to leave and threatened to shoot the youth.

The victim was able to push the suspect from the residence, and police were contacted.

Multiple officers responded to the area and a description of the suspect was provided to police. At approximately 9 p.m., the suspect was located on English Street and arrested.

There were no reported injuries.

The accused and the victim were not known to one another.

As a result of the investigation, Chantelle Tiffany Bowman, 43, of London, has been charged with the following offences:

  • Unlawfully in a dwelling house; and
  • Uttering threats to cause bodily harm.

The accused is scheduled to appear in London court today in relation to the charges.
