London woman and man identified, seeking the public’s assistance

UPDATE - LONDON, ON (June 4, 2025) – Members of the London Police Service have identified the female suspect, along with an additional male suspect in relation to two theft investigations from earlier this year.

As a result of the investigation, Julie Marshall, 21, and Scott Robert Whitton, 40, both of London have been charged by way of warrant of arrest as their whereabouts is currently unknown.

They have been jointly charged with two (2) counts of theft under $5000.

Police are seeking the public’s assistance with locating both Julie Marshall and Scott Robert Whitton.

Julie Marshall is described as female, White, approximately 5’5”, thin build, shoulder length black wavy hair and brown eyes.

Scott Robert Whitton is described as male, White, approximately 6’0”, 200 lbs, medium build with shoulder length brown hair, light facial hair and green eyes.

Police have included pictures in hopes that the public can help to locate them. The public are reminded to not approach either suspect and to call 9-1-1 if seen.Images of the wanted man and woman

The investigation remains ongoing.

LONDON, ON (February 3, 2025) – Members of the London Police Service Street Crime Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in relation to two thefts from a business in the north end of the city last month.

On Monday, January 6, 2025, at approximately 1:20 p.m. a female entered a business in the area of Fanshawe Park Road and Adelaide Street North. Once inside the business the female stole product before fleeing the store on foot.

On Thursday, January 9, 2025, at approximately 9:30 a.m. a security officer working at the same business in the area of Fanshawe Park Road and Adelaide Street North recognized the suspect female from the previous theft as she entered into the business.

The female was observed a short time later fleeing the store on foot with stolen merchandise.

Police were called and provided a description of the female.

Officers with the LPS Uniformed Division were not able to locate the female.

The investigation was reassigned to the LPS Street Crime Unit.

The suspect is described as female, White, approximately 5’5”, thin build and shoulder length black wavy hair. She was wearing a knee length black coat with a hood, light coloured shirt, black pants and black boots with fur on them.

Investigators have included a picture in hopes that the public can help to identify her.

The investigation remains ongoing.
