SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE LEADS TO CHARGES
London man arrested
LONDON, ON (June 9, 2025) – A London man has been charged after members of the London Police Service located a stolen vehicle in the east end of the city over the weekend.
Shortly before 3 a.m., on Saturday, June 7, 2025, a member of the LPS Canine Unit observed a suspicious vehicle running in a parking lot in the area of Rectory Street and Hamilton Road.
The officer learned the vehicle had been previously reported stolen to police on June 2, 2025.
When the officer activated the police vehicles emergency lights, the male driver attempted to flee in the vehicle by driving in to the front of the police vehicle several times.
The suspect male then exited the vehicle and attempted to flee the area on foot.
The man was arrested a short distance away.
As a result of the investigation, Colin Terrance Carville, 44, of London, has been charged with the following offences:
- Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000;
- Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle;
- Failing to stop for police;
- Five (5) counts of operation while prohibited;
- Breach of probation; and,
- Resist arrest
The accused is scheduled to reappear in London court on June 10, 2025, in relation to the charges.
