SUSPICIOUS FIRE

LONDON, ON (March 19, 2025) – Members of the London Police Service Street Crime Unit are investigating a suspicious fire that took place Monday night in the north end of the city.

On Monday, March 17, 2025, at approximately 11:30 p.m., emergency crews responded to reports of a vehicle on fire in a parking lot in the 1600-block of Richmond Street.

Members of the London Fire Department extinguished the fire.

The vehicle, a 2025 4-door black Tesla S, sustained significant damage.

There were no reported injuries.

The damage is estimated at approximately $140,000.

Investigators are appealing to the public for assistance. Anyone who may have dash-cam, residential or business video surveillance footage which may assist with the investigation, is asked to call the London Police Service.

The investigation remains ongoing.
