SUSPICIOUS FIRE INVESTIGATION
No injuries reported

LONDON, ON (May 12, 2023) – Members of the London Police Service Street Crime Unit are investigating a suspicious fire on Adelaide Street North.

On Friday, May 12, 2023, at approximately 5:20 a.m., emergency crews responded to a building in the 1000-block of Adelaide Street North in relation to reports of a fire.

Members of the London Fire Department attended and extinguished the fire.

There were no reported injuries.

The fire was deemed suspicious in nature and has been reassigned to members of our Street Crime Unit, with the assistance of the Ontario Fire Marshal.

The damage is estimate is unknown at this time.

Anyone with information in relation to this incident is asked to call the London Police Service at (519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Information can also be sent in online anonymously to London Elgin Middlesex Crime Stoppers.
