SUSPICIOUS FIRE
Investigation ongoing 

LONDON, ON (June 16, 2022) – On Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at approximately 2:00 p.m., emergency crews responded to a working fire at a playground in the 200-block of South Street.

The London Fire Department attended and extinguished the fire.

The fire was deemed to be suspicious in nature and the investigation was assigned to members of the LPS Street Crime Unit, with the assistance of the London Fire Department.

There were no reported injuries.

The damage is estimated at approximately $80,000.

The investigation is ongoing.
