HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION

UPDATE - LONDON, ON (June 22, 2024) – Members of the London Police Service Major Crime Section continue to investigate a death that took place last night.

Two 17-year-old males, both of London, who cannot be named under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, have been jointly charged with second degree murder.

Both remain in custody with upcoming court dates.

Police remain on scene as the investigation continues.

LONDON, ON (June 22, 2024) – Members of the London Police Service are investigating a suspicious death that took place last night.

On June 21, 2024 at approximately 10:00 p.m., Police responded to the area of Southdale Road East and Millbank Drive in relation to a disturbance.

Upon arrival, a male was located with life-threatening injuries and transported to hospital by paramedic services. The victim succumbed to his injuries in hospital and was pronounced deceased.

The investigation has been reassigned to members of the LPS Major Crime Section and is in its early stages. More information will be provided as appropriate.

The public are advised that there will be an increased Police presence in the area while the investigation continues.

At this time, there is no concern for public safety.
