FEMALE SUFFERS INJURY

LONDON, ON (May 14, 2025) – At approximately 5:25 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, members of the London Police Service responded to check the welfare of a female in the area of Wharncliffe Road South and Base Line Road East.

Police located the female in distress attempting to walk into the roadway.

Officers apprehended the female pursuant to their authority under the Mental Health Act, and during the interaction the female sustained an injury requiring medical attention.

The female was transported to hospital by paramedic services.

The woman has since been released from the hospital.
