Seeking the public’s assistance
LONDON, ON (May 3, 2025) – Members of the London Police Service Major Crime Section are investigating a shooting that took place in the downtown core overnight.
On Saturday, May 3, 2025, between the hours of 9 -10 p.m., police received multiple 9-1-1 calls in relation to a shooting in the area of Dundas and Wellington streets. On arrival, police located an adult male with apparent gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to a hospital by paramedic services with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police have cleared from the area and are not currently holding the scene as there is no risk of public safety.
Investigators are requesting anyone who may have dash-cam, residential or business surveillance that could assist with the investigation, to contact the London Police Service.
The investigation is in its early stages and more information will be provided as appropriate.
