SHOOTING INVESTIGATION
Seeking the public’s assistance 

LONDON, ON (September 19, 2024) – Members of the London Police Service (LPS) Major Crime Section are investigating a shooting that was reported to us early yesterday morning. 

On Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at approximately 3:25 a.m., members of the LPS Uniformed Division were notified that an adult male attended the hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. 

The location where the shooting took place is unknown. 

“While this is the city’s third reported shooting in under a week, investigators do not believe that the incidents are related at this time.” Said Acting Detective Inspector Jeff Ordronneau, head of the LPS Organized Crime and Support Branch. “If anyone has any information in relation to the incident, or the location where the shooting took place, they are encouraged to contact the London Police Service.” 

The investigation is in its early stages, and investigators are asking anyone who may have information to contact police. 

Anyone with information in relation to this incident is asked to call the London Police Service at (519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Information can also be sent in online anonymously to London Middlesex Crime Stoppers.
