SHOOTING INVESTIGATION
Seeking the public’s assistance

LONDON, ON (November 20, 2024) – Police are seeking the public’s assistance after members of the London Police Service Uniformed Division responded to a shooting investigation early yesterday morning.

On Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at approximately 2:40 a.m., a homeowner called 9-1-1 to report finding what they believed to be bullet holes in their residence after hearing several loud bangs in the area of Briarhill Avenue and Huron Street.

Officers arrived and located evidence that a firearm had been discharged.

No injuries were reported.

The investigation has been reassigned to members of the London Police Service Guns and Gangs Section.

Investigators are asking anyone who may have been in the area of Briarhill Avenue between Melsandra Avenue and Huron Street between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. Tuesday morning, who may have dash-cam, residential or business video surveillance that could assist with the investigation, to contact the London Police Service.

The investigation remains ongoing.
