UPDATE #3 - LONDON, ON (July 11, 2023) - Previously reported wanted man Dennis Phillips-Cada, 28, of London has been located and arrested. Police would like to thank the public for sharing the information.
He remains in custody.

UPDATE #2 - LONDON, ON (July 10, 2023) – Members of the LPS Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Section have identified the suspect involved in the sexual assault and robbery investigation reported on July 6, 2023.
As a result of the investigation, Dennis Phillips-Cada, 28, of London has been charged by way of warrant of arrest for the following offences;
- Sexual assault with a weapon; and
- Robbery.
The accused has not been arrested at this time. As a matter of public safety, we are releasing another image in the hope the public can assist us in locating him. Dennis Phillips-Cada is also known to frequent the Scarborough area. If seen, do not approach him and call 9-1-1 immediately.

We are releasing the image in hopes that members of the public can assist us in identifying the suspect.

ORIGINAL – LONDON, ON (July 6, 2023) – Members of the London Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Section are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in relation to a sexual assault and robbery that took place early this morning in the north end of the city.
At approximately 4:20 a.m., on July 6, 2023, a woman was walking southbound on the west side of the 1100-block of Adelaide Street North when a male crossed the street towards her and began following her. The man assaulted and sexually assaulted the female before taking her purse and fleeing from the area.
The victim contacted police and officers attended the area. A search yielded negative results.
The suspect is described as male, White, slim build, approximately 5’6” with shoulder-length curly hair, running shoes, a black and white gym bag, and black sweatpants. He was not wearing a shirt at the time of the reported incident, as his shirt was reportedly hanging off the gym bag that he was carrying.
The victim sustained minor physical injuries as a result of the assault.
