SEXUAL ASSAULT INVESTIGATION
Seeking the public’s assistance
LONDON, ON (October 1, 2025) – Members of the London Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Section are seeking the public’s assistance in relation to a sexual assault investigation.
At approximately 12:10 a.m. on Sunday, September 28, 2025, a woman was waiting to be picked up by a ride share driver in the area of Richmond and Hyman streets when she was approached by a man, unknown to her.
The man asked the woman if she was okay and assisted her into the ride share vehicle when it arrived, entering the back of the vehicle with her.
In the area of Wonderland Road South and Westminster Drive, the woman began to feel sick and asked the driver to pull over.
When the vehicle stopped, the two passengers exited the car, and the man told the driver he could leave.
After the ride share driver left, the woman was sexually assaulted by the man.
The victim ran from the suspect and flagged down a passerby, asking them to call 9-1-1 for her.
Numerous officers, including members of the LPS Canine Unit responded and searched the area for the suspect male.
The suspect was not located.
Members of the LPS Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Section are actively investigating the incident.
A photo of the suspect has been obtained and attached, and investigators continue to seek higher quality photos of the suspect in hopes the public can assist with the identification of him.

The suspect is described as male, Brown, approximately 5’8”, medium build with short dark brown hair, clean shaven and wearing a dark blue long sleeve shirt and brown pants and white shoes.
Investigators are asking anyone that may have been in the area of Richmond and Hyman streets between 12:00 a.m. and 12:15 a.m., who can identify the suspect, may have information in relation to this investigation, or who have dash-cam footage, or residential or business video surveillance that could assist with the investigation, to contact the London Police Service.
