London man arrested
LONDON, ON (August 11, 2025) – Members of the London Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Section have laid charges in relation to a sexual assault that took place over the weekend at a shopping mall located in the 1100-block of Wellington Road South.
On Saturday, August 9, 2025, at approximately 4:30 p.m., two women were sitting on a bench inside the mall when they were approached by an adult male, unknown to them.
The suspect engaged in a short conversation with the women and proceeded to sexually assault one of them.
The victim did not sustain any physical injuries.
The two women left the area and contacted the police.
The investigation was reassigned to members of the LPS Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Section, and on August 10, 2025, the suspect was located and arrested.
As a result of the investigation, David Edward Kaczmarek, 39, of London, has been charged with one count of sexual assault.
The accused remains in custody and is expected to appear in London court today in relation to the charges.
