SEXUAL ASSAULT INVESTIGATION
Public safety warning
LONDON, ON (June 22, 2025) – Members of the London Police Service are issuing a public safety warning after a woman was sexually assaulted and assaulted by an unknown man over the weekend.
On Saturday June 21, 2025, between 1:30 – 2 a.m., a woman engaged as a sex worker, was approached by a man in a vehicle in the 100-block of Rectory Street. The two engaged in conversation before the woman met and entered the vehicle of the suspect male in a nearby parking lot.
While inside the vehicle, the suspect male produced what the victim believed to be a handgun. The suspect made threats towards the woman and drove the vehicle to a lot in the 600-block of Trafalgar Street where he proceeded to sexually assault and assault her.
The victim fled from the car to a nearby house where she contacted a family member to pick her up.
The woman transported herself to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police were subsequently contacted.
The suspect is described as male, Brown, in his 30's, approximately 5’11”, medium, fit build, clean-shaven with shoulder-length thick black hair. He was described as wearing a t-shirt and black jogging pants.
He was operating a silver or grey 4-door sedan. Images of the suspect vehicle are attached.

The investigation was reassigned to members of the LPS Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Section, and they are actively investigating. Police are appealing to members of the public to assist in identifying the suspect and involved vehicle.
