Serious Motor Vehicle Collision

UPDATE #1 - LONDON, ON (November 29, 2022) – Members of the London Police Service continue to investigate a collision in the south end of the city. Police have determined that the injuries at this time appear to be non-life threatening, therefore the investigation will continue to be conducted by the Uniformed Division.

Three vehicles were involved in the collision, and one driver was extricated by London Fire and transported to hospital by Paramedic Services.

A 53-year-old male driver of one of the vehicles and a 44-year-old male driver of another vehicle both remain in the hospital in good condition.

All lanes of Wellington Road between Commissioners Road East and Southdale Road East have been re-opened.

ORIGINAL - LONDON, ON (November 29, 2022) – Members of the London Police Service are investigating a collision in the south end of the city.

At approximately 5:20 p.m., emergency crews responded to the area of Wellington Road south of Wilkins Street in relation to a serious motor vehicle collision.

Wellington Road is currently closed in both directions between Commissioners Road East and Southdale Road East.

The investigation has been reassigned to members of the Traffic Management Unit and is ongoing. We are asking drivers to remain out of the area.
