SERIOUS MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION


UPDATE – LONDON, ON (September 21, 2024) – The investigation into a serious motor vehicle collision that took place in the south end of the city yesterday afternoon continues.

The driver of the involved motorcycle has succumbed to his injuries in hospital.

Investigators are appealing to members of the public to contact us if they have dash-cam footage, video surveillance, or any information that can assist with the investigation.

ORIGINAL – LONDON, ON (September 20, 2024) – Members of the London Police Service Traffic Management Unit are investigating a serious motor vehicle collision that took place in the south end this afternoon.

On Friday, September 20, 2024, at approximately 1:30 p.m., emergency crews responded to the intersection of Colonel Talbot Road and Southminster Bourne in relation to a motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and a vehicle.

An adult male was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the other involved vehicle remained at the scene.

The investigation is in its early stages and has been reassigned to members of our LPS Traffic Management Unit.

The intersection has been closed in all directions while investigators remain on scene.

More information will be provided as appropriate.
