SERIOUS MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION
Pedestrian suffers life-threatening injuries 

LONDON, ON (May 30, 2023) – Members of the London Police Service Traffic Management Unit are investigating a serious motor vehicle collision that took place early this evening.

At approximately 5:20 p.m., on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, emergency crews responded to the 800-block of Commissioners Road East in relation to reports that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in a parking lot.

Upon arrival, a man was located and was transported to hospital by paramedic services with life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the motor vehicle remained at the scene.

A portion of the affected parking lot is closed while police investigate.

The Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) will be flying in the area of Commissioners Road East and Wellington Road to assist with the motor vehicle collision investigation.

The investigation is in its early stages and more information will be provided as it becomes available.
