ROBBERY INVESTIGATION
Seeking the public’s assistance

LONDON, ON (November 25, 2024) – Investigators with the London Police Service Street Crime Unit are seeking the public’s assistance after members of the LPS Uniformed Division responded to a robbery investigation early Sunday morning.

On Sunday, November 24, 2024, at approximately 1:15 a.m., three men on an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) approached a man on his cell phone in the area of Hilton Avenue and Whitney Street.

One of the men took the mans cellphone, and when the man attempted to get his phone back all three suspects assaulted him.

One of the suspects brandished a knife and stabbed the victim before the three males fled the area on the ATV.

A number of officers responded, and a search of the area did not locate the men or a knife.

The victim suffered a non-life-threatening injury and was transported to hospital by paramedic services.

The investigation has been reassigned to the LPS Street Crime Unit who are appealing to the public to assist with identifying the suspects.

One suspect is described as male, White, wearing a white hoodie, grey pants and a black ski mask. The second suspect is described as male, White, wearing a red sweater, black pants and a black ski mask, and the third suspect is described as male, White, wearing a grey hoodie, black pants, black gloves and a black ski mask.

The suspect vehicle is described as a red, older model ATV.

Police learned all three suspects had been previously seen driving the ATV in the area.

Investigators are asking any member of the public that may have information in relation to this investigation or may have been in the area of Hilton Avenue and Whitney Street between 1 a.m. and 1:30 a.m., who may have dash-cam, residential or business video surveillance that could assist with the investigation, to contact the London Police Service.

The investigation remains ongoing.
