ROBBERY INVESTIGATION
Seeking the public’s assistance

LONDON, ON (January 12, 2026) – Members of the London Police Service (LPS) are investigating a robbery that took place in the north end of the city late last week.

On Friday, January 8, 2026, at approximately 3:15 p.m., a woman entered a store inside a shopping centre in the area of Richmond Street and Fanshawe Park Road East.

While inside the store, the female selected a number of items and brought them to a cashier. She asked the cashier to hold the items until she was able to return to pay for them. Upon her return at approximately 5:30 p.m., she received the merchandise and brandished a knife. The woman exited the store without making any attempt to pay for the merchandise.

The robbery was reported online, and police were not made aware until the following day. Investigators learned that the female had been inside the store on more than one occasion, and officers obtained video surveillance of the suspect female. 

No injuries were reported.

The investigation has been reassigned to the LPS Patrol Operations Investigative Section, and photos of the suspects have been included in hopes the public can assist with identifying her.

She is described as female, White, in her 20s, approximately 5’6”, 120 lbs., with long brown hair. She was wearing a white beanie hat, a black hooded Nike sweatshirt with the word “Nike” on the front, navy blue sweatpants and white shoes

Investigators are appealing to members of the public who may have been in the area at the time of the robbery, who may have dash-cam, cellphone or business video surveillance that could assist with the investigation to contact the London Police Service.

The investigation remains ongoing, and more information will be provided as appropriate.
