ROBBERY INVESTIGATION
Victim sustained serious, but non-life-threatening injuries 

LONDON, ON (July 6, 2023) – Members of the London Police Service are investigating robbery that took place early yesterday evening. 

At approximately 7 p.m., on July 5, 2023, a man was walking in the 0-100 block of Baseline Road West when he was approached by a male acquaintance who demanded money. The suspect male proceeded to assault the man and flee northbound from the area. 

Police were contacted, and a witness advised officers that the suspect male may have been in possession of a firearm at the time of the reported incident. 

The victim was located with a serious, but non-life-threating injury. 

The suspect was identified, and a number of officers attended the area. 

The suspect was not located, and the investigation is ongoing. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
