SEEKING THE PUBLIC’S ASSISTANCE

LONDON, ON (May 26, 2023) – Members of the London Police Service Street Crime Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect male involved in a recent robbery in the south end of the city. 

On Thursday, May 25, 2023, shortly after midnight, a male was in the 800-block of Jalna Boulevard when a suspect male approached him, produced a firearm and demanded personal property. The suspect male removed property and identification from the victim and fled southbound. 

Police were contacted and provided a description of the suspect. 

The victim did not sustain any physical injuries. 

A search of the area was conducted, and the suspect was not located, but a portion of property belonging to the victim was found on Sasha Crescent. 

The suspect was described as male, dark-skinned, in his mid 20s, wearing a heavier tan-coloured fall jacket, dark pants, a black fanny pack and white shoes. The male was believed to be approximately 5’6, 135 lbs, with an average build. 

Investigators are appealing to members of the public in hopes that someone has video surveillance or doorbell cameras in and around Sasha Crescent and the 800-block of Jalna Boulevard that may assist with the investigation.
