REPLICA GUN AND STOLEN PROPERTY SEIZED

London woman facing charges 

LONDON, ON (November 24, 2021) – A London woman is facing weapons-related charges after an armed robbery in a south-end shopping mall yesterday evening in the 1100-block of Wellington Road. 

At approximately 7:30 p.m., on November 23, 2021, an employee of a store inside the shopping mall observed a woman select a number of items and try to leave the store without making any attempt to pay for them. 

A mall security officer approached the suspect and she brandished a handgun. The female fled on foot and police were contacted. 

A short time later, police officers arrested the female in the area of Bradley Avenue and Jalna Boulevard. Police recovered the stolen property and replica firearm. 

As a result of this investigation, Trisha Rose Hendricks, 31, of London is charged with one count of armed robbery and one count of fail to comply with a release order. 

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in London court today in relation to the charges.
