CELEBRATING POLICE WEEK
Building Bridges: Celebrating Police-Community Partnerships 

LONDON, ON (May 14, 2023) – The London Police Service is joining police services across Ontario in kicking off Police Week (#PoliceWeekON), which celebrates the work front-line police officers, 9-1-1 communicators, civilian staff, and all members of Ontario police services do to keep Ontarians safe and healthy. 

This year, Police Week runs from May 14 to 20, 2023. The theme for the week is “Building Bridges: Celebrating Police-Community Partnerships.” 

Throughout this week, LPS will be highlighting the many ways in which our members continue to serve our community. 

• Tuesday, May 16, 2023 – Coffee with a Cop at McDonalds, 385 Wellington Road South from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
• Thursday, May 18, 2023 – Coffee with a Cop at McDonalds, 1950 Dundas Street East from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
• Saturday, May 20, 2023 – Tours of London police headquarters (these tours are scheduled, and registration is required)

The annual Police Week in Ontario is sponsored by the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) and the Ontario Ministry of the Solicitor General. It is part of the National Police Week led by the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police.
