MISSING PERSON – George (Carol) Murphy
Seeking the public’s assistance 

UPDATE- LONDON, ON (February 24, 2025)- A previously reported 77-year-old has been located and is safe. We would like to thank the public for sharing the information. 

LONDON, ON (February 24, 2025) – The London Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 77-year-old George (Carol) Murphy, of London.

George is described as White, thin build, approximately 5’7”, 155 lbs, with white hair, often worn in a ponytail. The missing person was last seen a wearing a coat and light-coloured jeans. George is believed to be carrying a small green bag.

The missing person was last seen in the area of Southdale Road and Millbank Drive at approximately 11:30 a.m., and reported missing at approximately 3 p.m., today.

Family and police are concerned for the missing person’s welfare.

Anyone with information in relation to the missing person’s whereabouts is asked to call the London Police Service at (519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Information can also be sent in online anonymously to London Middlesex Crime Stoppers. 

A person can be reported missing at any time. You do not need to wait 24 hours before you report someone missing. If you are concerned for someone’s immediate safety, call 9-1-1. Otherwise, you can report a person as missing to the London Police Service by calling the non-emergency number 519-661-5670.
