SERIOUS COLLISION IN EAST END OF CITY
UPDATE – LONDON, ON (November 4, 2021) – Members of the London Police Service continue to investigate a serious motor vehicle collision that took please on Highbury Avenue North earlier this morning.
The involved driver’s injuries are no longer believed to be life-threatening, and he remains in hospital in serious condition.
Southbound traffic on Highbury Avenue from Hamilton Road remains closed while crews continue to work on hydro in the area.

ORIGINAL – LONDON, ON (November 4, 2021) – Members of the London Police Service Traffic Management Unit are investigating a serious motor vehicle collision that took place this morning.
At approximately 10 a.m., emergency crews responded to the area of Highbury Avenue North, just south of Hamilton Road, in relation to a two-vehicle collision involving a hydro pole.
An adult male driver of one of the vehicles was extricated by London Fire and was transported to hospital by Paramedic Services with life-threatening injuries.
Highbury Avenue is currently closed to southbound traffic while the investigation continues.
Hydro has been affected in the area.
