LPS HEADQUARTERS CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC
LONDON, ON (December 17, 2021) – Due to the recent surge in COVID-19 cases and the Omicron variant, the London Police Headquarters is closing to members of the public, effective December 18, 2021, until further notice. In consultation with local health officials, the London Police Service is taking all necessary precautions to help slow the spread of the virus in our community.
At LPS, COVID-19 safety measures are not taken lightly and they are intended to minimize community transmission of the virus, while providing an added layer of protection for our members. Please note: All emergency services are still in place. In the case of an emergency, call 9-1-1. For non-emergencies, please call 519-661-5670, or complete a report online.
While LPS Headquarters remains closed, we will be providing limited services by appointment only, including fingerprinting and property pick up. All screening and COVID-19 protocols will be in place and we ask those who are feeling unwell to reschedule.
We encourage the public to make use of our online services, including record check and Freedom of Information requests, and to make a report online when possible.

Record check applications can be submitted online. If additional information is required, please call 519-661-5515 ext. 4788.
Freedom of Information requests:
Information on how to submit a Freedom of Information Request by mail can be found online.
Property pick up:
Obtaining property will be available by appointment only. To book an appointment, call 519-661-6501 or email property@londonpolice.ca .
Appointments will be available for specific services including fingerprints (if required as part of the record check process) and Freedom of Information document pick up. LPS will not be accepting in-person record check applications or in-person Freedom of Information Requests.
