LOADED GUN, CASH AND DRUGS SEIZED
London man and woman arrested

LONDON, ON (August 29, 2025) – Charges have been laid after a firearms investigation in the east end of city.

On Thursday, August 21, 2025, members of the London Police Service Guns and Gangs Section along with the LPS Emergency Response Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in the area of Egerton and Grafton streets.

A search of the residence led to the following items being seized:

  • Loaded Colt 1927 .45 calibre handgun with 5 rounds of live ammunition;
  • 50 rounds of .45 calibre ammunition;
  • 41 rounds of 9mm ammunition;
  • 31 rounds of .40 calibre ammunition;
  • 4 x 9mm over capacity magazines;
  • 138 grams of suspected cocaine;
  • 7 grams of suspected crack cocaine;
  • 11 grams of suspected Psilbcybin;
  • A cellular device; and,
  • $2000 of Canadian currency.

As a result of the investigation, Danielle Marie Bentley, 46, and Bruin Wesley St Denis, 23, both of London have been charged.

Bruin Wesley St Denis, 23, has been charged with the following offences:

  • Four (4) counts of possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order;
  • Breach of probation;
  • Two (2) counts of careless storage of a firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition;
  • Possession of restricted or prohibited firearm knowingly not holding a license and registration certificate;
  • Four (4) counts of possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon or prohibited device knowing no authority unauthorized;
  • Possession of a loaded/unloaded regulated firearm;
  • Possession of a Schedule III substance; and,
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking.

Additionally, Danielle Marie Bentley, 46, has been charged with operation of a motor vehicle while prohibited.

Danielle Marie Bentley is scheduled to appear in London court on September 29, 2025, in relation to her charge.

Bruin Wesley St Denis remains in custody and is scheduled to reappear in London court on September 9, 2025, in relation to his charges.
