LONDON, ON (March 8, 2024) – Members of the London Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Section are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in an indecent act and assault that took place early January in the area of Richmond Street and Fanshawe Park Road East.
On Saturday, January 13, 2024, at approximately 1:30 p.m., a teenage girl was in the common area of a shopping centre in the north end of the city when a male exposed himself to the girl. A short time later, the same suspect male approached the girl a second time and grabbed her arm.
The girl left the area and told her mother. The incident was reported to police.
The victim did not sustain any physical injuries.
The suspect has yet to be identified, and therefore investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in relation to this matter.
The suspect is described as male, White, approximately 5’8”, slim build, with short black hair. He is believed to be between 20 – 30 years of age.
Photos of the suspect have been added to our website in hopes that someone is able to identify him. Investigators are asking anyone that may have witnessed this event, was in the area at that time or who may be able to identify the suspect male, to call the London Police Service.
If seen, police are reminding members of the public not to approach him and to call 9-1-1 immediately.
