COLLISION LEADS TO IMPAIRED CHARGES
London man arrested
LONDON, ON (September 1, 2023) – A London man is facing charges after a single vehicle collision early this morning.
At approximately 2:20 a.m., on Friday, September 1, 2023, police responded to Oxford Street East and Quebec Street after a citizen reported a collision involving a vehicle that had struck a median.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured and remained on scene.
As a result of the investigation, Samuel Tome, 34, of London, has been charged with the following offences:
- Impaired operation of a conveyance;
- Impaired exceed blood alcohol concentration; and
- Possession of a schedule I substance.
The accused is expected to appear in London court on October 12, 2023.
The estimated damages are unknown at this time.
